"Calico Charlie"

\

Hi y’all.  I'm Calico Charlie.  I was born in Pueblo de Los Angles, California in 1836.

When the war broke out I hitched up with the Union Army and fought in Arizona and New Mexico. After the war I went to work for the King Ranch in Texas as a regulator during the range wars. (Fer you folks that don't know, a regulator was someone who enforced the rules back then.)

When I heard about the chance to strike it rich I headed back to California in 1882 during the gold and silver rush. I settled in Calico where the silver was just pouring out of the mines.  Now I work there as a Deputy Marshal and part time gambler.  Yup, the "Calico" in my name comes from the town of Calico.

Greg Davis is retired from the United States Air Force. He currently works for an Indian reservation as a Tribal Ranger.

He enjoys riding his horse, being a volunteer gun fighter at Calico Ghost Town, and being with Guns and Garters. Greg also likes to go to any country hangout where his friends, the Doo-Wah Riders, happen to be playing.
